Giving up one lift is not giving up on strength. It is choosing to keep training instead of spending the next year in rehab.

Great advice, Vic. I'm in a similar position with some old injuries. Will start looking into some workarounds. Great article.

make the necessary changes!

I did this when running steps, 927 in the route, when my knees started complaining. I was doing the run 3-4 times a week and I reduced to twice max. I replaced it with longer, level runs. My knees stopped hurting.
