You are a gift. Such growth here. Transcending your growth, testimony, and redemption to the world is the fullness of walking in our true identity. Powerful

“I am” hold more power than we give credit for. It silently builds our identity for us. Sometimes without us even knowing it. Good stuff here. Thank you for sharing.

Thank YOU for letting me know how it impacted you. For me, that’s the measure of whether what I’m doing here matters.

The was excellent. Very similar to your background, except I channeled it in the manner that I could survive with little to no love or emotional connection. So long as the relationships had security, I could carry the rest. I became the fixer of all fixers, I was the relationship, just like I had been as a child.

I’m glad you liked it, Kathleen. Comments like yours are why I do this.

Thank you Vic. Same—64, starting over for the second time in Bali - writing a memoire and learning exactly where all the words I listen to came from. Time to redefine success for me, not through the eyes of what I think others see of me, but for me— not easy to break that cycle but it’s working. I feel your words and thank you! 🙏

You’re welcome, and good for you, Bobby!

I read mistakes as well when you use the word wounds. When you let your wounds control, you let the devil win and you give everyone around you a weapon, sadly some will use them.

Vic Holtreman's avatar

Agreed, mistakes as well.

Can you also flip it? Cherry-pick positives from the past you want to bring forward? I am the person who did X. I am the person who thought of Y. I actually chose to do Z when I was 30. Some of what we dig up can also help us now.

Yes, absolutely, 100%. But from a place of humility and gratitude, not arrogance.
